As a coach, it’s not just about instilling discipline by having frequent rigorous training, it’s all about improving by doing the same thing consistently. This is how you build a habit, and from habit comes the culture which will build a team working together. Coaching for more than 45 years, I can say this has been an effective way of honing team to have the right control – knowing when to spike and when to hold back for others. Through this, physical, mental, and social wellness are achieved. When these are achieved and sustained, I can say I’ve done my job.
