WellnessDay: Mr. Jake Anthony Pernez

Setting your mind and body to a balanced (healthy) lifestyle is a challenge.  I started this through my love for running 8 years ago.  After feeling the urge to do more and seeing the capacity of my body, I started to do swimming and biking.  Later on, I was able to join duathlons, open-water swim, and then triathlons.  Through training and regular exercise, these sports helped me maintain a healthy state of mind.  This somehow radiated and made some family members and friends start their wellness journey.  I believe that you too can start in your own little way.  A simple exercise or hobby may lead you to get more focused on your wellness, no matter how young or old you can be.
